Ok here's whats up..I recently met this guy on a website & originally wasn't too keen about wanting to get to know him because i normally prefer dating people around my own age..This guy is 9 years older than me..Guys around my age aren't all that great though..so we (the separated guy and I) ended up chatting and found out we have very many things in common, similar likes, thoughts,opinions about various things regardless of age difference. He's 36 separated 2 years but not yet divorced , has a 7 year old son part time, and im 27 year old college senior. We've known each other for about a a week + now online & have talked on the phone for several hours. He and his now X wife hardly talk..but he sees his son every day. We've been talking about wanting to meet for coffee perhaps or dinner. I asked if his son is ok about him possibly dating again after 2 years of not seeing anyone...he said his son is rather mature for a 7 year old & said he wants his dad to be happy. What to do? When I click June 2010 as my departure date, I only get two ports before I set my destination--Baltimore, MD and New York, NY. I saw an article on Fox 7 news of women in their late 30-45 age bracket dating younger men. That's the company's tag line. And they deliver. LOVETHELAB?************ I'm a BD flow lover, a confirmed Mac user (I tell everyone "I don't do Windows"). So why am I touting a machine made by Amnis that requires Windows? Because this instrument goes above and beyond mere flow cytometry- it shows you every event (that's cell to non-flow users) in detail. I used it and I am sold. It takes a single experiment now to do intracellular localization, in place of two. A simpler caspase activation assay. What's not to love? Even the computer quandary is solvable (the one feature I'd change: I'd have it run off a Mac) - with an Intel Mac; just get Parallels software, install Windows, and you are good to go, or rather, run. And the ImageStream can run off an Intel Mac this way too. I bought an Intel iMac just for analysis. Installation of Parallels was easy, IDEAS is about as intuitional as any flow software package. Currently, I am a freshman enrolled at Johnson & Wales University but I am planning on transferring to another university. Up to date, my GPA is a 3.55. I am considering on doing a double-major program with Criminal Justice and Accounting. Then, when I graduate, I plan to go to graduate school to earn my Master’s degree in both majors. One of my first questions is, when I do a double-major program can I major in two subjects such as Criminal Justice and Accounting and learn another language? Or can I only do Criminal Justice and a language? My second question is about joining the army reserve. Right now I am fully focused on my academics, but I plan to enroll with the army reserve for three years and plan to do this in my junior or senior year. I have not talked to any recruiter yet, I am just simply researching on what I can do in the future to enhance my opportunities. I have been looking at the website and I like the job of a Criminal Investigations Special Agent. I wanted to know if choosing the job of a Criminal Investigations Special Agent is a good choice that will be relevant to joining the FBI or is there another job title that I can look into? The Sims 3 Requirements? Ok I really need yall help now anybody who knows about the Sims 3 knows there are requirements and procedures you got to handle and go through. Tennis tryouts in 2 days!? I haven't really played tennis before. In 5th grade i took lessons and after that the only thing i have done was hit the ball around with my brother or up against the garage. I have always wanted to play tennis for my high school but 9th grade i have no idea why but i didnt try out. In 10th grade the only people told about tryouts were the people on the team from the previous year. Then in 11th grade i moved to a new state and i couldnt tryout because i wasnt even registered until after tryouts. Now i am a senior and I feel so stupid that i didn't tryout in 9th grade. The tryouts are on the 10th. I have no idea what i even need for tryouts. I tried to find out on the school website but they just had tryout dates. All i know is that our team wasnt so good last year and that there wasnt a lot of girls on the team but then again ihave no idea how many people are usually on the team. I dont know whether i should tryout or if i should just forget about it. What can i do? should i tryout?

questions about highschool? hi, im 13, 14 in october and iv been homeschooled my whole life, but this august im going to highschool for my freshman year now i went on the highscvhooled website and was looking at there calender of events..... these questions are listed in order of dates........ the first questions is....... there is a "sadie hawkins dance" it doesnt say what kind of clothing is worn, but what is normally worn at dances, and are they a big deal? cause i have 3 or 4 in the whole year, thats quite alot........ how do the dances work? pretty much, the girls get asked by guys then they get all dressed up and go to a party with them? mostly im wondering if they r a big deal like everyone goes...... nextttt there is a "home coming spirit week" what is that?? nextttt on october 30th there is a "halloween dress up contest" is that cool, or do only dorks dress up, what kidna dress up is it? How do I get an ACT fee waiver? My school ran out of ACT fee waivers, and I want to take the April ACT test. I can't pay out of pocket the $30 test fee, and I really need to take the test because the next test date will be for when I am a senior. I want to send out my applications for colleges early next year, and I'll have to put that off to wait to take the ACT and get back my scores. Does anyone know how I can get an ACT fee waiver outside of school? I checked the website, and I cannot directly ask the ACT company for a fee waiver, so I need to know if there is another option. Get my freinds to let this girl they know know that I would take her to prom? Okay, there is this girl I like, I tried asking her out a few years ago (2) when I was in HS, I just couldn't work up the nerve, I didn't even go to senior prom. I tried asking her out later but I came on too strong and really creeped her out, but now she seems to act normal around me, we were at a party and we even talked for a while (But i did everything I could to show no interest in her so she wouldn't think I still liked her, beacuse that would push her away) She is a senior now along with some close mutual freinds of mine, I just can't get it out of my head, and I know i'm living in an unhealthy fantasy world, but mabye, just mabye, there was something I could do that could let her know if she didn't have a date I could take her. I don't even know if she has a date or not, I don't even know when the schools prom is (I checked the website and theres nothing) or when the last day to confirm that someone is going. I need some way to steer a conversation with one of my freinds to prom so I can try and get more information, but they know that they should stay away from that subject beacuse I went through server depression beacuse I didn't go to prom when I was a senior. God I just don't know what to do...

Chances for top 30 university? I will probably have a 4.3 cumalitive private gpa and a 4.6 UC gpa by application time (3.86 freshman year[B in french 2...], 4.33 sophomore, 4.83 junior). I will take the SATs soon, and from practice tests and the PSAT, I am confident I can get around 2100-2300 my first time. I also think I got 4-5s on the rest of my AP tests (in addition to AP Euro(5) sophomore year), resulting in 4 5s (4s in worst case) total, pertinent to application. SAT IIs also look to be in the 700-800 range. My senior course load is: AP Calculus BC, AP Physics B, AP Comp Gov, Ap Econ, AP Music Theory English, Band. I play the oboe and English Horn at school, privately, and in major youth orchestras. I am co-principal oboist in one of the youth orchestras. I also have been part of 2 honor groups I have been a member of the school robotics team since sophomore year and will have participated for 3 years by the end of senior year, including FIRST events. I play tennis semi-seriously, occasionally at a tournament or two. I will have been on the varsity track team for 2 years by the end of senior year (pole vaulting). I am part of 2 clubs at school, being the cofounder of one of them (not really documented at school however, at least not that I know of). I peer-tutor, and have accrued about 400 hours total doing so. I also volunteer at a local thrift shop, providing affordable clothing and merchendise for the underprivilaged, and will garner around 100 hours total for this. Additionally, I am part of CSF, but no leadership in this unfortunately. A friend and I have started a private charity organization named Young People's Humanitarian Society (not affiliated with school, went through trouble to incorporate and get approved by state sec of state). We are seeking to raise awareness of humanitarian issues, for now domestically, may grow to be internationally (probably not). We are trying to raise money as well, but we have not had it running long enough to see if it will have a concrete impact yet. A detailed and thourough website will be up on this shortly. I have also co-founded a club at school to raise political awareness and espouse the virtues of political dissent. It has been running for about a year since sophomore year. I plan to found some more clubs at the beginning of senior year. This summer, I am planning to take 2-3 CCCs (community college courses). I have not taken any CCCs to date however. I will also intern (hopefully) at a local engineering company, or otherwise get a job at a gas station (haha). I may also attend a science program/seminar somewhere. I think I will have recieved around 3-4 awards/honors/scholarships by application time. As for my negatives, I have only taken up to 3 levels of language (French) and cannot continue because of scheduling conflicts. I applied for a summer internship with NASA, but got rejected (not a direct negative, but I'm paranoid colleges will do the same). Also, based on your judgment, my leadership and community service may be lacking. I would appreciate it if you could give me some chances for 1) top tier UCs and 2) privates in the top 30 (usc, columbia, duke, vanderbilt, etc).
