Are there any FREE senior dating sites? Another point,ladies...please be truthful about your weight. for ex: Average usually means 20 pounds overweight. A "few extra pounds" usually could go to 40 pounds overweight and more. And the classic "more to love" means a person weighs in at 200 pounds and more.
Is there a (free) dating site to link younger people with older people? this is a little embarassing...see, when it comes to dating i've been burned by girls my own age. Also recently I had a somewhat romantic relationship with someone 20 years my senior - and we really hit it off! We had a lot in common, liked the same activities, and liked each other. Sadly that had to end because the college class we were attending ended, and we haven't seen much of each other since. But I found that I really liked the idea of, well, romance with someone my senior for various reasons...and was wondering if there was a site that specifically is for that kind of interest? Preferably it would be free (to some degree). Is there any such thing?
High school senior dating Middle school girl? Ok this is gonna sound weird and even slightly pedophilistic, but just hear me out -- it's summer right now, and i'm going into 12th grade (senior in high school) and I don't know how and I don't know why, but I think unfortunately i'm in love. Problem is, the girl is going into 7th grade (halfway through middle school). She's mature, looking and talking to her you could label her as a high school freshman, but that doesn't change the big age gap -- she's 13 and i'm 17. I realize that when people get married that kind of age gap is common (on the same note, I know girls that have boyfriends 3 or 4 years older than them, in college). I guess i'm just looking for some feedback -- has anyone heard of a relationship like this? What is your personal opinion on it? Feel free to give a negative opinion, I don't mind. Overall i'm willing to not act on it and not date her if people consider it to be too weird, but I would really like to have her as my girlfriend.

How long will you have to wait for treatment when health care is free? Waiting Your Turn: Hospital Waiting Lists in Canada, 15th EditionPublication Date: October 2005 Publication Format: Critical Issues Bulletins Author(s): Nadeem Esmail, Director, Health System Performance Studies, The Fraser Institute Email: nadeeme@fraserinstitute.ca Telephone: (403) 216-7175 ext 222 Dr. Michael Walker, Senior Fellow and President, The Fraser Institute Foundation Email: michaelw@fraserinstitute.ca Telephone: (604) 714-4545 Executive Summary: The Fraser Institute’s fifteenth annual waiting list survey found that Canada-wide waiting times for surgical and other therapeutic treatments fell slightly in 2005, making this the first reduction in the total wait for treatment measured in Canada since 1993. Total waiting time between referral from a general practitioner and treatment, averaged across all 12 specialties and 10 provinces surveyed, fell from 17.9 weeks in 2004 back to the 17.7 weeks last seen in 2003. This small nationwide improvement in access reflects waiting time decreases in 5 provinces, while concealing increases in waiting time in Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland. Among the provinces, Ontario achieved the shortest total wait in 2005, 16.3 weeks, with Manitoba (16.6 weeks), and Alberta (16.8 weeks) next shortest. Saskatchewan, despite a dramatic 7.8 week reduction in the total wait time, exhibited the longest total wait, 25.5 weeks; the next longest waits were found in New Brunswick (24.5 Weeks) and Newfoundland (22.3 weeks). Is there a sight for seniors 55+ just to make friends, not a dating service? There are many of us seniors who are widowed or divorced who would just like to have a e-mail pals. Many are of low income, have no family and are homebound. This would provide some contact with the outside world and give many some meaning and worth. Even those who have more means and would like just to communicate with others from different areas, who do not want to put themselves out there in the dating scene, put their life and photo on the internet to who knows who. Let us have are dignity back and be who we are and offer friendship and be able to feel free and safe doing so from our own homes. Surely there must be something, if not How could a site be set up specificly for this

Ladies: How do I break out of my dating funk and skepticism?(SERIOUS answers only)? Ladies: How do I break out of my dating funk and skepticism?(SERIOUS answers only)? Additional Details My senior year of college, I got friendly with and ended up losing my virginity to a woman I knew for about 2 years. Her and I had become friends that fall prior and started to hang out and be real platonic. It came out that she had had a crush on me since she first me met me. Now I deem my self the average guy, having hits and misses in the dating department in college. I was a late bloomer, my first kiss and gf not until I was 19, and then I met other women and played the field quite a bit and briefly dated a few other girls, until I met her. Several weeks into us dating or whatever you'd like I call it, she invited me and two of her friends up to her parents' cottage for New Years. A lot of the time, I felt kind of left out, but she paid attention to me when it was just her and I. I had kind of known one of her friends, and we all talked alot, but she ended up telling a female friend of mine that I acted very out of character at a restaurant we went to, swearing up a st Dec 29, 2007 at 8:34 am storm in public and causing her to be embarrassed. The god honest truth was that i was eating my meal, bored and silent because every time I tried to talk to her and her friends I felt left out still. Plus, the male friend of hers was flirting with her the whole weekend and paid for my meal! When I offered and he turned it down! I was like 'what is going on here'? So finally, in the car after she was like "No, nothing's wrong" She was extremely silent like something happened to her. And she was quiet. This REALLY concerned me because the night before I had developed more feelings for her that I wanted her to be my girlfriend. She ended up telling a close female friend of mine that I acted "very out of character", didn't offer money to pay for things (All NOT true), and didn't help clean up (when I cleaned up lots). She also told her very personal things about my performance (that I will not share, Dec 29, 2007 at 8:39 am No guy would want to share it, when this same girl, to my face, told me it was ok. And that when she told me she just wanted to be friends that New Year's Day it was "ok" and understandable because she just wanted to go back to being friends. After we hooked up NewYear's night? Look, im not an innocent victim. My close female friend I mentioned, her and I had feelings for each other, but weren't together during my "fling" with the girl who bothered me. She ended up telling people that I ignored her pleas for help with her asthma and just "ate pudding" when the truth was I never knew she was asthmatic and she told me she was allergic to a pillow and I had stayed up with her and gave her water and took care of her. She ended up telling her friends and people around campus that I had called her a whore and stuff when I never talked **** about her to her friends, and I felt that my rep at college was sort of ruined. I had known lots of people. but never felt the same. Dec 29, 2007 at 8:41 am Any rate, the four years after finishing school ALL my dates haven't gone past the first. I've tried online and meeting in person and nothing has worked. I haven't had anything resembling anything since and Im flustered. I still have "problems" with that area of my anatomy. Im currently in therapy for this and while I realize and respect the fact that women have been through loads worse with men and still carry on better than I have, I am not going to make excuses or apologize for my stance on this. The whole ordeal has left me kind of traumatized, there's not a day I don't think about it in 4 years, and im 27 now. I want to break free and move on, but I feel I can't. I feel like ALL women are like that. On my dates I am nice, polite, personable and not overly flirty. Just "right" flirty. I never get returned calls. I feel much better having got this off my chest, but I felt this girl ruined my life. I haven't been with another girl sexually since. How do I break out of my shel
Girlfriends Parents????? I'm 18, a freshmen in college, and she's a senior in high school. We started dating last April, I was a senior and she was a Junior so this was a prior-to-college relationship. Initially her parents were kind of sketchy about it, but they kind of adjusted to it. They just seem so... you know like, your talking to a giant medieval fortress with 1,000 archers all pointing their bows at your face. I've done all I can to try to win them over. I'm genuinely a good guy, but they just seem cold all the time. I'm always being judged over there. I mean, I've done many a service for their family. I've picked up her brother from track practice so he didn't have to walk home. I got her younger brother a gift for his birthday. I even washed her fathers car, waxed too, for free this past summer!! I just can't seem to win. I'm thinking about just putting up my own wall, and only telling them what they want to hear since they can't seem to accept my own flaws. . Does anyone have any decent advice?????
Why do all of these high level officials question the events of 9/11? Current U.S. Senator states "The two questions that the congress will not ask . . . is why did 9/11 happen on George Bush's watch when he had clear warnings that it was going to happen? Why did they allow it to happen?" Current Republican Congressman states that "we see the [9/11] investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on" Current Democratic Congressman hints that we aren't being told the truth about 9/11 Former U.S. Republican Congressman and senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, and who served six years as the Chairman of the Military Research and Development Subcommittee, has shown that the U.S. tracked hijackers before 9/11, is open to hearing information about explosives in the Twin Towers, and is open to the possibility that 9/11 was an inside job Former Democratic Senator states that he supports a new 9/11 investigation and that we don't know the truth about 9/11 Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense under President Ronald Reagan said that the official story of 9/11 is "the dog that doesn't hunt" (if you suspect he is a closet liberal, take a look at his bio) Former director of the U.S. "Star Wars" space defense program in both Republican and Democratic administrations, who was a senior air force colonel who flew 101 combat missions, and who is a Catholic Archbishop stated that 9/11 was an inside job (he also said "If our government had merely done nothing, and allowed normal procedures to happen on that morning of 9/11, the twin towers would still be standing, and thousands of dead Americans would still be alive. [T]hat is treason") Former U.S. Army Air Defense Officer and NORAD Tac Director, decorated with the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and the Soldiers Medal stated that "there is no way that an aircraft . . . would not be intercepted when they deviate from their flight plan, turn off their transponders, or stop communication with Air Traffic Control ... Attempts to obscure facts by calling them a 'conspiracy Theory' does not change the truth. It seems, 'Something is rotten in the State.'" Former 20-year Marine Corps infantry and intelligence officer, the second-ranking civilian in U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence, and former CIA clandestine services case officer stated that "9/11 was at a minimum allowed to happen as a pretext for war", and it was probably an inside job (see Customer Review dated October 7, 2006). Former high-ranking Reagan official and very influential conservative doubts the official story about 9/11 Former Two-Star general questions the attack on the Pentagon Former Air Force Colonel and key Pentagon official finds various aspects of 9/11 suspicious Former President of the U.S. Air Force Accident Investigation Board, who also served as Pentagon Weapons Requirement Officer and as a member of the Pentagon's Quadrennial Defense Review, and who was awarded Distinguish Flying Crosses for Heroism, four Air Medals, four Meritorious Service Medals, and nine Aerial Achievement Medals, is a member of a group which doubts the government's version of 9/11 Current U.S. Congresswoman, former senior CIA analyst, former Deputy Secretary for Intelligence and Warning under Nixon, Ford, and Carter, former US Ambassador and Chief of Mission to Iraq, former Deputy Director to the White House Task Force on Terrorism, and former US Department of State Foreign Service Officer (as well as a who's who of liberals and independents) jointly call for a new investigation into 9/11 Pentagon Papers whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg said that some of the claims concerning government involvement in 9/11 are credible, that "very serious questions have been raised about what they [U.S. government officials] knew beforehand and how much involvement there might have been", that engineering 9/11 would not be humanly or psychologically beyond the scope of the current administration, and that there's enough evidence to justify a new, "hard-hitting" investigation into 9/11 with subpoenas and testimony taken under oath Former FBI translator, who the Department of Justice's Inspector General and several senators have called extremely credible (free subscription required), said "If they were to do real investigations we would see several significant high level criminal prosecutions in this country. And that is something that they are not going to let out. And, believe me; they will do everything to cover this up". She also is leaning towards the conclusion that 9/11 was an inside job A 28-year career CIA official says 9/11 was an inside job A retired 27-year CIA analyst who prepared and presented Presidential Daily Briefs and served as a high-level analyst for several presidents stated that there are indications that Cheney ordered a stand down of the military on 9/11 Former FBI agent says "The FBI, rather than trying to prevent a terrorist attack, was merely gathering intelligence so they would know who to arrest when a terrorist attack occurred." Former air traffic controller, who knows the flight corridor which the two planes which hit the Twin Towers flew "like the back of my hand" and who handled two actual hijackings says that 9/11 could not have occurred as the government says, and that planes can be tracked on radar even when their transponders are turned off (also, listen to this interview) Former 6-year Inspector General, U.S. Department of Transportation and former Professor of Aviation, Dept. of Aerospace Engineering and Aviation says "the [9/11] commission is clearly not talking to everybody or not telling us everything .... Huge discrepancies persist in basic facts .... when we heard the carriers and governments alike saying, “Oh, no one could have foreseen this. No one knew that this was coming. No one knew that there was any risk like this in the world,” is absolutely false.... The Group Director on matters of national security in the U.S. Government Accountability Office said that President Bush did not respond to unprecedented warnings of the 9/11 disaster and conducted a massive cover-up instead of accepting responsibility Former ambassador to Iraq is not satisfied with the official story Numerous high-level legal scholars question the official version of 9/11. As do numerous military leaders. And many officials from allied governments have also questioned 9/11: Statement by former President of Italy Statements by former German Defense Minister and current member of British Parliament Statement by former Canadian Minister of Defense Statements of two former MI5 (British intelligence) agents (19 minutes into video) Statement of a high-ranking general and the former chief of NATO regarding bombs in the Twin Towers (in Danish) Statement by the commander-in-chief of the Russian Air Force; and see also statement of former chief of staff of the Russian armed forces
is it wrong to break up over the phone?? me and my boy-friend have been dating for 3 months now. i'm 17 and this is the first real boy-friend i've ever had. i've never broke up with a boy before, they've always broken up w/me. i don't think i could do it to his face. i feel like i don't want a boy-friend right now and he's starting to get on my nerves. i want to be free to do whatever i want. it's my senior year in highschool and i don't want to be tied down. i don't understand what is so wrong with breaking up over the phone??? the reason i've thought about doing it over the phone is because i won't see him for another week. the next time i see him will be at something for school and that will be every day for the whole week. i figured it would be better if i did it before then.
How do you tame a free spirit? I have been together with my current girlfriend for just over four months. We met about a year and a half ago in high school, and became good friends. We even went to my senior prom together. Our relationship started as a long-distance one, as I was on an internship program away from home, but I came home about a month ago. The problem is that she is what you would call a "free spirit"; she doesn't like being tied down, or doing things with just one person. In the past month, we have been on only two dates, and we barely see each other otherwise. She is always with her other friends. Whenever we do see each other, I am always the instigator; she has never really contacted me with something to do. My question: How do I get her to see that she can be independent and still include her boyfriend in her social life? I am deeply in love with her, and I'm afraid our relationship will run into trouble because of this. Please help.
help with my obssesion..? i was fine, enjoying a care-free life.. i met this girl senior year totally fell for her, we dated she treated me like garbage.. used me abused me, blah blah blah.. we finally ended it.. she got bored, didn't want a b/f anymore, who honestly knows, i know now it wasn;t anything i was doing wrong.. she still wanted me in her life because i gave her everything, but not the way i wanted.. again i let her use me, i didn't care.. i loved her..just the other day i told her i can't speak to you anymore it is distroying me. she doesn't understand.. i'm obssesed with a girl who used me for everything i had and changed the way i think for the rest of my life.. my frist goal- don't pick up her call, no matter how many times. i've said this before, but i'm at a point where my health is at risk.. this might sound crazy, but it's true.. i'm actually obssesed with a human being that treated me like a 1940s left-handed catholic school student. can anyone relate to what i just realized happened to me.
boyfriend problems.... lack of.. *cough*? I'm 17, senior in high school and the clicka are set. all my guy friends see me as a friend or already have gf's. i'm wooried about not having a date for prom or the senior formals... so i wnated to try online dating.. problem. 1) i'm a little embarressed... 2)don't know what sites are good (and free) 3) is it safe?? anyone else have good (or bad) luck w/these type of sites?? thanx up front!
tough decision? im a 18yr old male. my friend since maybe 4-5th grade is gay ( i have known for years never has bugged me). well his boyfriend recently broke up with him. well, with prom comming up he is all worried that he wont be able to get a date for his senior prom. He knows i had no plans on going to mine ( we go to different schools) well he asked me if i would like to go to his prom with him. Not like as a date but just to hang out more, someone for him to hang out with more or less. i kinda felt bad so i said yes (after a few days of thinking on it). So just out of the blue he said hey its gonna be hard to get a tux. maybe you should just like go in drag, nobody will know. he offered to buy everything for me, dress, heels, underwear anything i need. i really dont know how i feel about this or what to even tell him. its like i really dont care to wear a dress and all that, but at the sametime its all free so it wouldnt hurt me any. what can i do? it is a no same sex prom, and i think wearing the girls underwear makes me more nervous than anything

Is it wrong for a girl to want time out of relationships to find herself? Okay, boyfriend and I have been dating six months, seniors in high school. He's very needy, I'm pretty distant and not terribly social. He isn't social either, but I'm the only thing that makes him happy. He claims I'm free to do my own thing, and I make a point of spending at least an hour a day with him, but away from that hour I'm not as talkative (and really, it's not just him, it's everyone) and he feels brushed off because of is. I on the other hand feel suffocated, as if I have to be talking to him 24/7 or he'll get depressed. He claims this isn't true... we're working on trying to find a compromise between my distance and his clingyness. He is very passionate and in love, but I always feel nervous and pressured because I feel like I can't match that. Now, when we aren't like that, he is very sweet... I enjoy our relationship, even if I'm not all uber lovey dovey and romantic like he is. I want to enjoy the rest of our time together. However, in spite of this... I'm just not so sure if I want a relationship going into college. I'm not sure I want to stay with him forever... maybe temporarily break it off and in a few years see if the spark returns. When I explain this, he says I am just using him, I don't really want him, I never loved him and I'm not willing to give him a chance. He feels I have no right to say I need time to find myself, he says I should be able to do that with him there and those changes happen on their own... is that true? I don't know... I've decided I'm going to go into college still dating him, but I'm not so sure... I don't know. Maybe I am a horrible person for wanting to someday back away so I can find myself, maybe he's right and I'm supposed to do it while balancing our relationship... he's said by the time college happens we'll be past this drama and we'll be fine, but even without the drama I'm just not sure... my life just seemed easier without a relationship, I'm not sure I can handle it... but he's a great guy and he's willing to put up with all my distance and depression and shit, he's said he's "accepted being unhappy"... he's a wonderful guy, I have no reason to dump him when I go off to college, especially when he loves me so much. Maybe I am a bitch... am I wrong?

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said slightly more than half of the influenza virus strains reported to its surveillance system are not good matches against the strains included in this flu season’s vaccine. The number of states reporting widespread flu activity jumped to 31 this week compared with 11 a week ago, the CDC said. But Dr. Joe Bresee of the CDC’s influenza division said there are no indications this flu season is worse than usual. Story continues below ↓ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- advertisement -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Seasonal flu activity was slow to start this year but has increased sharply in recent weeks,” Bresee told reporters. One measure officials use to gauge the severity of the season is the number of flu-related child deaths. Bresee said the CDC has heard of six U.S. children who have died from the flu, a relatively low number compared with recent years. Flu viruses mutate and change all the time, so every year a different vaccine is created as officials predict which particular strains will circulate. The vaccine is designed to protect against three influenza strains — two from Type A, an H1N1 and an H3N2 version, and one for Type B. Bresee said about 30 percent of the overall strains of influenza in the United States may be a Type A strain that emerged in Australia called H3N2 A/Brisbane. It emerged too late to be included in the flu vaccine offered in the United States beginning in September and October. The Type B strain chosen for this year’s vaccine also was not a good match for most of the B virus strains seen in the United States this flu season, Bresee said. “While a less-than-ideal virus match between the viruses in the vaccine and those circulating viruses can reduce vaccine effectiveness, we know from past influenza studies that the vaccine can still protect enough to make illness milder or prevent flu-related complications,” Bresee said. Flu vaccines take months to make. Bresee also said some resistance is being reported to the antiviral drug Tamiflu, made by Switzerland’s Roche Holding AG and Gilead Sciences Inc of the United States. Of the viruses tested in CDC flu labs, 4.5 percent are resistant to the drug, Bresee said. Why do these conservative republicans question the events of 9/11? Current Republican Congressman states that "we see the [9/11] investigations that have been done so far as more or less cover-up and no real explanation of what went on" Former U.S. Republican Congressman and senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, who served six years as the Chairman of the Military Research and Development Subcommittee, has shown that the U.S. tracked hijackers before 9/11, is open to hearing information about explosives in the Twin Towers, and is open to the possibility that 9/11 was an inside job Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense under President Ronald Reagan said that the official story of 9/11 is "the dog that doesn't hunt" (if you suspect he is a closet liberal, take a look at his bio) Former high-ranking Reagan official and very influential conservative finds "massive evidence that the 9/11 Commission Report is a hoax" Former Air Force Colonel and Pentagon official, who was part of the influential Office of Special Plans, and who was at the Pentagon on 9/11 does not believe the official story regarding 9/11 (see also this essay) In addition, the following high-level military and intelligence personnel have also questioned 9/11 (it is not clear whether or not they are conservatives; but their credentials are impressive): Retired Lieutenant Colonel who served 21 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, a fighter pilot who flew over 300 combat missions, questions the official version of 9/11 and said "This isn't about party, it isn't about Bush Bashing. It's about our country, our constitution, and our future...Your countrymen have been murdered and the more you delve into it the more it looks as though they were murdered by our government, who used it as an excuse to murder other people thousands of miles away." Former 20-year Marine Corps infantry and intelligence officer, the second-ranking civilian in U.S. Marine Corps Intelligence, and former CIA clandestine services case officer stated that "9/11 was at a minimum allowed to happen as a pretext for war", and it was probably an inside job (see Customer Review dated October 7, 2006) Former FBI translator, who the Department of Justice's Inspector General and several senators have called extremely credible (free subscription required), said "If they were to do real investigations we would see several significant high level criminal prosecutions in this country. And that is something that they are not going to let out. And, believe me; they will do everything to cover this up". She also is leaning towards the conclusion that 9/11 was an inside job Former director of the U.S. "Star Wars" space defense program in both Republican and Democratic administrations, who was a senior air force colonel who flew 101 combat missions believes that the military was intentionally disabled on 9/11 in order to allow the attacks to succeed (see also this statement) High-ranking general and the former chief of NATO (in Danish; hint -- he mentions bombs in the Twin Towers) Oh but sparhawk it's not my delusions. It must be all of these republican conservatives delusions as well huh. You have a pretty weak case buddy.
A senior who likes a freshman......help please.? This year I'm a senior and I've been having a great time in my small school of about 150. This year I thought I was just going to get through school without any relationships (like usual) and just wait to see new girls in college, who would be different than all the girls in my school (who are party animals, sluts, and very preppy). Their are a lot of girls that like me but I never really gave a relationship a thought because I just love having an awesome friendship and having drama-free fun and I just don't want to "date" that's just not who I am. Yet this year is different I've been friends with this 15 year old freshmen girl and it's been a pretty awesome friendship, we hang out at school all the time and occasionally outside of school and we've been pretty close. But early on in our friendship I found out she had a crush on me, which I found to be cute but when her friend asked if I would like to date her I said No she's too young. But the more I hang out with her, the more I talk with her, the more I fall for her, and it just confuses me greatly I don't know what to do, part of me is just saying just forget about her, but the other part is saying only positive things and constantly reminding me how strong of feelings I have for her. I mean I danced with her at homecoming and give her hugs on a daily basis. It's as if we are going out, but I fear that a relationship with her would give me a negative image that I'm afraid of, I'm afraid I'll be compared to my Dad, because my Dad is in prison for child molestation in the third degree (even though I believe he didnt do it). I just don't know what to do I really like her and I know she likes me but can a relationship work out? I don't want this situation to hurt her in the long run.
Guilt trip.? Well me and my bf make 3 years this month, were dated in my senior year of highshool. I'm thinking about breaking it off with him for these reasons, and my friend thinks is kind of superficial, i don't think it is.. But feel free to state ur opnions. I'm studying to be a pharmcist, next year is my first year in pharmacy school... Ladies.. Would you date a guy with less education than you, as in my bf dropped out of college 3 times... He can't hold a job, i have to pay for everything. Who only wears 2 sets of clothing over and over again for the past year. When i turned 18 i grew 2 more inches, and im the same height as him (i get turned off by that sometimes) He had 3 hair cuts in 3 years. And currently he has no job and plays games all day long.. I love him for the person he was, something happened and i tried to get him back on his feet numerous times. But im fed up!! Would u call that being superficial?
Rent to own or not, I am putting myself out here for suggestions!? I found a home in a very good neighbrhood where I live. However it is a rent to own 3bdrm, 2 ba, family room ,attached garage, nice fencened in yard. However as a single parent this is a bit on the steep side for me. Financially do you think I can afford it. I make 11.38 an hour working full time, I have a second job through a agency which pays 13-14.50 an hr I average about 32 hrs, I have two cars that I own (93, 98). I am currently a senior in college with a graduation date of 12/07 so income will increase shortly. currnetly I rent and pay 775. The downside is have three kids 9,8,2 I recieve child supp off and on, I don't have the best credit, and I recieve food stamps, have no savings. While looking at the brights side, I just want my kids to have better opportunities in life living in a decent neighborhood, exposure to good school, and a home to call their own. I am free to leave the agreement, but will lv w/o anything if I break the lease.
Does she want to go to prom with me? Okay so I asked this girl to prom the other day. She said yes. Everythings dandy right? That's what I thought. Here's some backround, back in December I was told by her best friend that she really liked me. So I started texting her and talked to her at school. Then like three days after that this other guy asked her out. She said yes. I figured she said yes cuz they had been friends longer. No big deal, I moved on. Then a couple months later they broke up. I figured I might try to ask her out. Then her friend told me that I should ask her to prom. This made me think she still liked me, so I asked her to prom. She said yes, woot! I asked her if she wanted to go on a date. She said no cuz she had just recently broke up with her ex. Once again no big deal, I completely understand that. She still wanted to go to prom with me so that's cool. But now I'm in a strange place, do I just try to act like a friend? We never really hung out before and I don't think she wants to hang out. I tried to just chill with her one day after school. She said she would call me when she was free, she never called. I text her something like every otherday or so and try to talk to her some at school. She talks to me but only when I initiate it. I don't know if she still likes me, she seems like she won't mo d not talking to me. Ithink this would make prom very difficult. If we hardly talk and don't know that much about each other, how are we supposed to spend that whole night together? I'm so lost. She is a sophomore and I'm a senior, for a sophomore to go to prom at my school an upper classmen has to ask them, her best friend is going with a one of my best friends. My friend is also a senior and his date (my date's best friend) is a sophomore. So she might just be using me so she can go with her friend. I don't know. Does she really want to go with me? Or just hang with her friend? Does she still like me? Btw I'm planning on asking her friend if she still likes me
Senior Ball Drama that will make the guy from The OC have a wet dream.? Ok, so this is quite possibly the largest cluster-f**k of senior ball drama and I'm not sure what to do. So, any "relationship experts" and any person who wants to make another BS TV series please feel free to comment . Good luck following this. Ok, so Rochelle had been going out with Tim for about two years. She broke up with him. Tim joined the army and nobody knows what became of him. The same sort of thing happened to Josh who was going out with Sarah for about two years as well. When Sarah dumped Josh he kinda just fell apart and started going through girls like a complete man-whore. Rochelle and Josh, both very good friends of mine decide to start going out. Nick however, who is also a good friend of both, had liked Rochelle for some time is a bit jealous of Josh and thinks he's a bad guy for flying through all the chicks. Now it get even more fun. John, best friends with Josh, has had a HUGE thing for Kelsey. He asks her out and gets rejected. He picks up smoking and now smells like an ashtray quite a bit. Soon Senior Ball is coming and LAST YEAR, Josh had decided to take Kelsey to it as friends. Realize that Josh is going out with Rochelle. So now John asks Rochelle and she says yes. Bit backwards but it works sort of. Just a Review with notes before I continue... All of us = good friends Rochelle+Tim=love (no more) Josh+Sarah=love (no more) Tim+Sarah=gone (OUT of picture) John Likes Kelsey. Kelsey doesn't like John. Nick likes Rochelle. Rochelle doesn't like Nick. Josh+Rochelle=going out Josh+Kelsey=Dates John+Rochelle=Dates Yea... So, now I'll introduce the other characters. I had been going out with Beth for about 16 months. We broke up. I decided with only a short time to ask Amy to Ball. Now, about a month later, I find out Amy has a HUGE thing for me. I don't have the same feelings for Amy. I instead am very much into Michele now. Michele also likes me. I don't really want to go with Amy, and Michele doesn't have a date and wants to go with me. Here comes David. He's had a lot of odd relationship which we won't today discuss too much. He recently has hooked up with Megan. Thing is he also has a Huge thing for Michele but Michele isn't into him.Her best friend on the other hand, Rachel, had a huge thing for him. David isn't into Rachel and actually used her to get closer to Michele. Nick still doesn't have a date so he asks Krista. They both like each other a bit. I'm sure there are much more ties than this but this web is much to complex to follow. Oh, and by the way were all going together in the Limo to Senior Ball. God only knows whats gonna happen. Any suggestions for any party?
In what ways can senior citizens help to solve this problem ? Dear Senior citizens, ever since the dawn of the satellite era of television and with the introduction of the information superhighway to the world wayback in the mid 90’s, a sudden and sharp rise in voyeurism has resulted which has in many ways been responsible for women and girls being looked upon as a mere sex object not only in advertisements on television but also on the streets where all females have to bear the brunt of eve-teasers, sex-maniacs and other emerging miscreants. In the name of music television, the audience is exposed to a lot nudity and skin show resulting in high libido among people in their pre-teens. The consequences are pre-marital sex, date rapes, molestation of minor by minors, other forms of sexual harassment of women and girls at their work places. The worst scenario is that certain paedophiles visit the internet for certain heinous purposes and try to trap innocent children visiting the net. There are many websites which openly discuss and solicit sex from children and also put up sadistic jokes for enjoyment by such perverts. The point which I am trying to make here is that is not high time that governments of all countries wake up to the menace being created through the misuse of modern media ? Are we waiting for statistics of sexual crimes to crop at a level when these things would have gone out of our hands? Can’t we make stronger laws to protect the dignity and modesty of women and children who are being abused daily in the name of emancipation and modernism.? Believe me! Incidents of eve-teasing and molestations of women and children are getting a casual treatment all over the world without an eyebrow being raised to the seriousness of such crimes and the devastating effects it can have on the victims. Perpetrators of such crimes are able to walk free after being arrested just because they are either children of top politicians or on the pretext that they were mentally ill or that they got too carried away by the level of voyeurism in the media. The time has now come for all of us to think together to fight this growing menace of over sexual exposure through the media. In what ways can senior citizens contribute towards creating an awareness to help youngsters from falling into the wrong hands ?
Is the YA violation button stuck on solicitation? Some of you will recall my "What's for dinner" question last night. I expected to get a violation due to the tongue in cheek nature of the post by asking that we stay on topic and not chat. What I didn't expect was a violation for solicitation. I notice in other categories people openly solicit others for dates and crude acts. What the heck gives? Like heathernhoney....I will frame this one because for the first time in this old gal's life I have been tried and convicted of solicitation, by Yahoo no less. My apology goes out to Dora for losing your ten points. Cincy...can you lend a hand to help free us Seniors from this tyranny? Thanks friends for recognizing this violation as the joke it is. I guess it has served it's purpose in giving all of us a good ole belly laugh. Barbara....since Cincy isn't on here right now can I appoint you to the Yahoovian senate? Heathernhoney....Well said. This is supposed to be the generation that fought and died so these jerks have their freedom to spew any venom they wish at whomever they wish. It's okay little Yahoo lambs....as they lead you to one door that has a creamation fire burning behind it or another that has a hang man's noose behind it. I guess you think that you will just violate them for it. NOT. Gonna pick a best answer quickly and I apologize to whomever picked in advance because you will more than likely loose your 10 points. Ginger....lovin your answer! It appears that you are another that doesn't go quietly in the night with the boogeyman.
cost of a cup of water with an order.? My wife and I went into the Jack-in-box at 1403 3rd Ave in Chula Vista CA. We placed an order and since we are both are seniors and do not drink soda, we ask for a cup of water. The cashier rang up a charge of $1.39 per cup for the water. I asked if they were charging for water as no other fast food resturant we have eaten charges for water, many give seniors free water and discounted drinks with their order. She insisted the price was $1.39 each for the cup, so I said good by and told her Jack-in-the-box has lost us as customers. I came home and placed a call to the Jack-in -the- Box main office and as it was a weekend had to leave a message with a phone number for an answer. To date Wed I have not recieved a response. From this I have to assume that customer service is not very high on your priority list and can under stand why you must charge the few customers who continue to eat at your restuarants for water. I am willing to give you much free advertising for your services.
How do I know when it is time to stop waiting for this girl to get over her ex? I like this girl a lot. She is 4 yrs (shes 20) and less mature, but we really connect and she has such a beautiful heart. The problem is that she is still hung up on her ex boyfriend who dumped her. I think he just broke up with her because he is a senior in college now and has been dating her all through school and just wants to feel free of responsibility. He was her first everything and she just can't seem to get over him. She has stated that she is angry at him and wants to get over it, but I think if he said the right thing, she would come. Compounding this problem is the fact that she has self esteem problems. I think she doesn't hold it against him that he dumped her because she doesn't value herself. There is another great woman in my life who I have been pushing away because I want to give this one a chance. She is avoiding this issue with me and will not give me straight answers. How long should I keep waiting and avoiding a commitment with the 2nd girl? She keeps asking me over and making me dinner and stuff and this also confuses me. She states that she has never cooked for anyone other than her ex and tries to give me the impression that this should have some weight with me. But she seems afraid of being intimate with me. One time we had a wonderful picnic date and it was going so well, we went back and laid in her bed and talked, and I kissed her before I left. But as soon as I kissed her she kind of looked like she wanted to run and it was like the carridge turned back into a pumpkin and that had just been a little pocket universe that wasn't real. Her actions look like a girl who feels like she is cheating on a boyfriend, and she seems scared to be intimate with me. So I let her know that I am going to be persuing girl #2 and she totally flipped. She tried to make it just about how she doesn't think she's the right girl for me etc but I pinned her down and she admitted she is really upset that I am dating someone else. But then she still said shes "not ready to date anyone". It is clear me dating other women really got her attention, but I feel like I need to either give girl #2 my full attention or not just to be fair to her. I guess I have to just let her go.
What should I do to feel more comfortable when I talk to my crush? Hello, I am a shy hs senior who unfortunately has never had a girlfriend. I think it's mainly because of my shyness. For some reason, I always feel inferior to this girl I like even though my friends tell me that I deserve her. I am not trying to brag, but I am academically in top 1% at my schoool and am also an all-state free safety (recruited by a university with awesome football program and academics). I have rejected some girls, but when I try to talk to this girl I like, I become extremely nervous; my heart beats extremely fast. She seems to have noticed that I like her and seems to be interested in me (what I am thinking may not be true), but we rarely talk because we are both shy. I would like to get some advice from some ppl who are experts in dating. The girl is a sophmore, and if I can't go out w/ her before graduation, I think I'll regret so much.
ahh, she said she was free after prom, what does it mean? so me and my girlfreind have been going out for 3 weeks. We like each other very much and things are progressing very fast on an emotional level. We have not kissed, but have held hands and hugged. I am 18, and she is 17 turning 18 next friday. So here is where it gets interesting, we were on our second date, and discussing prom. She told me the plans that she had arranged before I cam along (go out with some freinds, and then go to prom). She then said, and after prom I am up to nothing... as in her night was free. So here is where I get confused, she will be turning 18 that night, which means it is a big point in her life, and it is senior prom. I just want everyone opinion on what they would do, I know we will make out that night, but how would you handel the situation? what would you tell her about after prom, since she has elluded that she wants to be with me after prom ends... I just really dont know what to say, or how to make plans... Here is what I was thingking, I will be picking her up in my car, so we will br with my car after prom. My car is not that abd at all, but I really do not know the area, around her school. So I figured when we left prom I might just ask, so where do you want to go? also, I know we have not been in teh relationship very long, but my parnets will be gone for the week, so an amazing house is available... what would you say about that? I just dont know how to handel everything basiaclly... thanks all!!
what are some reasons to hang on? like i can look forward to my dream job in the video game industry, but like for now, i cant get a gf worth s*** and im just another horny 16 y/o sophomore... what are some things u hang on for? does high school dating get easier in junior/senior years? (maybe cuz u can drive and be free, etc.?)
Should I drop out of school? This is my senior year. I know this is kind of a long read, but I need help.? Please read this all before you say "stay in school". I'm 18, I've been with my girlfriend for 3 years. The first year was normal, and then she moved to Missouri (I'm in KY). We have been dating long distance since then, and see eachother about once a month. I am moving to Missouri after I graduate; if I graduate. I want to be a high school teacher. Currently my grades are a 37% and a 62% (I only have 2 classes because the rest of the day I'm working). I've had a 3.5 GPA the rest of high school. The main reasons I want to move are because I am suffering from anxiety and depression. This is because (1) my girlfriend is so far away, and (2) My father has punched me in the face and thrown me down on the ground until my brother and mother pull him off. He yells at me all the time saying I'll never be anything, I'm worthless, ugly, etc. All of this has happened multiple times, and I'm seeing a psychiatrist. Also, I have no friends at my school, but I do have 1 friend that lives here. My parents aren't going to help me with college, and because of my dad my grades are slipping away no matter how hard I try. Anyway, here's the deal: If I drop out I can move in with my girlfriends family for free. They will loan me money for a car which my parents wouldn't. Also, I wont be so alone. I wont have to deal with the abuse from my dad. I can get off my meds from the psychiatrist. I already have a job if I moved there. I'll get a GED. I'll go to a community college for 2 years, then transfer to a state University and finish getting a teaching degree. When I become a teacher I will be able to relate to kids, especially those dealing with abuse. I know people say dropping out its "stupid" but if I don't I will be stuck here, alone for the rest of this school year, still dealing with the abuse. My grades will continue to slip and I may not graduate at all. Then I'll have to get a GED anyway. So, what are your oppinions on this? I cant transfer becasue I've not taken any English or Math this year, and they are required at her school. They are full year classes so I cant just take it for one semester and get the credit.

I NEED HELP WITH MY EX GIRLFRIEND? ok, so i dated this girl for 13 months(freshman-sophmore year in highschool), it was a really strong relationship, and i began to consider seeing other people. so i told her and we eventually broke up. about a week later she kept talking about how she waned to get back together, and i kind of wanted to, but i still wanted to see other people. so then about another week passed and i asked her if she wanted to get back together and she couldnt talk because she was too busy with another guy who was a senior. so i got kind of pissed off and just told her i was leaving then. i guess she got mad and the next day she was dating the senior. that night she broke up with him because she wanted to get back together with me (really aggrivating story, she said she did it because she didnt like him at all... so why did she get back together with him?) i was still mad that she blew me off so i didnt really talk to her as much. then we started hanging out again, not dating, but just hooking up, and we started holding hands and kissing at school and stuff. then i screwed up and said she was being rude to my friends and she said we were done for good. we kept talking and we both wanted to get back together but we always argued, so we didnt. it seemed like she was a b**ch towards me whenever she was with that senior she dated. about a week ago she started dating the senior again without even telling me, and i found out by seeing them walking through the halls during class, i had a free period. she had all her stuff and so did he and she tried to convince me that she was going to the nurse, and that he was just walking in the hall and they met up(not too believable right?) so now i dont know what to do, i really want to get back together but im not sure if i can after all this stuff has been going on. she always talks about this senior like shes trying to rub it in, and then when i bring that up she gets mad at me. what can i do to get her to get back together with me? she told me about 3 days ago that she still loves me, nomatter who shes with, and we still hang out in school all the time, and everything still seems good between us. its just that this f***ing senior wont leave her alone outside of school, he doesnt have many classes so hes never in school. and when hes around she acts like she doesnt want to talk to me, i really dont know what to do... anyone have advice for me?
Are we REAL friends or is she just looking for free stuff? Is there any potential for becoming BF and GF? So I like this girl a lot and I have known her for almost a year and we kind of dated a couple times and I was shot down but anyways, we agreed to remain friends. I invited her to come to my work today and it was totally spur of the moment and she came without hesitating. She's come three weeks in a row and last week she just showed up without really saying anything. So my question is, does this mean that she is starting to like me or she's just coming to get free food? Cuz I've bought two times and gave her 50% off the other time. What exactly is going on? Whenever we text, we usually get into this conversation of how beautiful she is and she sometimes breaks down and starts telling me how she hates the scars on her face and she thinks her feet are ugly and all this non sense. I just tell her that it actually makes her look better, believe it or not. She always says thanks and tells me I'm "too sweet". I'll take any answer. Thanks. She's 17 and I'm 18. I am going to college this fall and she will be a senior in high school. We went to different high school's too.
ahh I am confused, what do you think she meant by, after prom I am free? so me and my girlfreind have been going out for 3 weeks.
